NICHE

Is an academic initiative by Icon Life Sciences that supports scientific events, experience-sharing, and PG development workshops. It aims to help healthcare professionals maintain, enhance, and expand the knowledge, skills, and clinical practices they use to deliver better care to patients and serve the larger medical community.

Through the NICHE initiative, Icon Life Sciences aims to partner with leading healthcare specialists to bring global experts across therapy areas under one roof. The initiative also enables Indian physicians to access the latest developments and treatment protocols from reputed medical institutions worldwide.

STEP

Is a training initiative for psychiatry postgraduate students under the aegis of TIPPS (Training Initiative for Psychiatry Post Graduate) to help postgraduate students acquire special skills in eliciting psychopathology, interview skills, administering rating scales, psychopharmacology; to name a few which are unique to this discipline and can substantially make an impact in training & learning of psychiatry postgraduate students.

OSCES

An Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) is a type of examination often used in health sciences across the world, but India it was introduced first time in the year 2020. OSCE orientation program was conducted under the ages of “Telearogya” & Karnakta IPS Chapter.. This program focused on familiarizing psychiatry PG students with pattern of exam, understanding different exam station, knowing what is expected of them during the assessment and avoiding various pitfalls during assessment. Mock OSCE sessions were also conducted to help students access their preparation.

EXAMINOLINE

It is first of its kind mock exam sessions designed for Neuro Surgery PG students to help them access their complete clinical Diagnostic Skills and readiness for final exams. This program is brain child of Dr Manas Panigrahi, an eminent neurosurgeon from Hyderabad.

Each session is designed to assess students’ knowledge of the basics of neurosurgery, interpretation of common neuroimaging investigation, commonly used Neurosurgery procedure diagnostic tests, clinical assessment, and appropriate investigations.
